Message So my car is having misfire issues. It'll do the popping noise from the exhaust as well as shake a little bit. The tach needle seems to hunt a little bit, jumping around 50 rpms. It also ends up at different idle rpms at different stops...sometimes idling at 900rpm, sometimes, 750 rpm, etc. Also, when I pop the gear into neutral while cruising it takes a few seconds for the needle to hit idle rpm...what is this indicative of?

I've already checked all the connections for corrosion, did a power balance test, checked spark plugs (some had oil on them, but it came from the valve covers leaking down and through the threads..cleaned them off), checked the iacv and what not, did a boost leak test (all I could hear was a lot of air going through the iacv), new fuel filter, ohmed the injectors, ran fuel injector cleaner ohmed the coil packs...i'm stumped on what the check next.
